Growing up with dirt bikes, I always knew I was going to have a motorcycle in my life, but I didn’t get my first one until I was 26.

None of my friends rode motorbikes and it's not really a one-man sport in the way I think of it. I was trying to convince one of my friends to get his motorcycle license and he insisted on getting a dual sport bike as his first bike, as he wanted to do some off-roading.

After looking around, the 2015 Scrambler gave me the opportunity to do both on-road with limited off-road riding to appease my friend so we could do bike trips together. If I didn’t get this bike, I would have opted for the Harley Street Glide. But my friend got a bike, and a week later we went on our trip.

PROs

Color looks sick

"Cheaper" classic looking bike

Turned out to be my first bike build (hence the "Custom" in the title)

Plenty of power for what I need

CONs

Oil changes are $250

Thats about it, cause I customized it to everything I wanted in a bike
